This is an absolutely beautiful piece of flow blue! The blue is rich and  vibrant! A recycled flow blue dinner plate, that has the first 15 American States linked together with the Liberty Chain, all around the edge of the plate.  The center of the plate has a "M" and a "W" intertwined, for Martha Washington. A wonderful raised scalloped pattern around the rim, you can see the pattern at the top of this piece as I used the rim of the plate in my design. The Liberty chain is surrounding the state name of Maryland. The china measures approximately 1 1/2" wide x 1 3/4" high including bail. The china is encased in a lead free alloy. A lovely and exquisite antique to treasure!
